Moon Hee Jun, who is the target of many antis, has changed in behavior to the point that it stands out to the public.
He
is recovering the title he held in the past, of having the most personal specialties, by coming on popular game shows, such
as “xman”, “yuh guhl six”, and “sang sang plus”.
Moon Hee Jun is gaining even more
publicity nowadays because of his interview with a famous community website. It may seem strange that he is gaining so much
publicity for just a mere interview, but this interview will be held by dish inside, which was the anti website that followed
Moon Hee Jun like a tail during the last four years.
This meeting[interview] is a chance for them (Moon Hee Jun and
his antis) to face one another and get rid of any misunderstandings that occurred in the past.
This interview is unique
as it is a chance for Moon Hee Jun to know oneself and his opponents.
Dish inside’s image gallery has in the
past gained much interest and support for their negative images of characters that represent Moon Hee Jun. They wondered what
he felt about those images.
In the past, Moon Hee Jun only stated that he was a bit afraid of netizens’ reactions,
but now he met his antis as the opportunity rose with his new album. The importance of this meeting was increased as many
wondered if the leader of the Dish inside website and Moon Hee Jun would be able to shake hands afterwards.
On the
question concerning his entrance to the army, Moon Hee Jun stated, “I don’t know specifically yet because they
told me they will send me a letter a week or two weeks before I officially enter.”
He also stated, “According
to one report/source, they stated that I was exempted from the army. However, I passed the physical test with the best degree
possible. I will be on active duty. I always thought since I was little that men should go to the army. I already have my
mind set on it.[laugh] I never thought of not going to the army.”
After receiving the question, “Recently,
the criticizing people(antis) have shrunk. Do you use the internet a lot?”, Moon Hee Jun stated, “My manager and
people around me have told me a lot of things about it. I usually don’t use the internet that much, but I did see that
a lot of people pointed out the negative things concerning my music. Before, when I was in an entertainment company, I asked
them to gather all advices concerning my music. I read all of them. However, it is true that after I debuted as a solo artist,
I was hurt because of so many people who were criticizing me. To be honest, I’m not THAT much of a bad guy.[laughter]”
Moon
Hee Jun also continued, “There was almost no criticism and hatred when I performed as a dance artist. A lot of people
around me asked me why I continue what I’m doing when I can come out as a dance artist and make a lot of money and fame.
I’m merely doing the type of music that I want, but getting there was so hard.”
He did state that he was
determined to do even better and to continue until he was accepted by the public.
They also questioned him about “Moon
Hee Jun’s analects”.
Moon Hee Jun said, “There are things I feel unfair about. The parts where I
answered thoughtfully (in an interview) were all cut off and it always seems like I only joked around. For example, after
I finished an interview, a reporter asked, ‘what’s your hobby?’, and I responded, ‘I like driving
early in the morning where there aren’t that many cars.’. Then the reporter asked if I was good at driving. I
answered that I’m close to the celebrities who enjoy car racing, and that I earned the license to car race. The next
thing I know, the article came out with the title ‘Moon Hee Jun Car Racer, I’m the Master of Speed’. What
would netizens think, looking at this article? I thought that even if I saw it, I would’ve thought it was strange and
weird.”
On the reason why he’s so stubborn on doing rock, he responded, “I don’t think that
my music is brilliant. I don’t think any music in the world is quite perfect. I’m learning right now and I will
continue to learn in the future, but I don’t think my music will ever become perfect until I die. I’m not being
stubborn on doing rock, I’m just doing the type of music that I want to do. To me, the most important thing is to get
people to feel, ‘he’s improving’. I hope that the listeners of my music would know that.”
I
think it’s important for us to acknowledge the efforts of both sides, of both “knives”, Dish inside, who
was a representative of the anti culture, and the singer.
